Bouquet subscriptions FAQ

  • A bouquet subscription works similar to a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), in that subscribers pay in advance to receive whatever that farm or market garden grows throughout the growing season. In this case subscribers receive fresh flowers at regular intervals.

  • Bouquet subscibers always receive the best of what we grow here, and for less price per stem.

  • Bouquets are arranged according to price per stem and are valued at $30 each. Labour and delivery costs are also included in the final subscription price.

  • Subscription spots are limited and typically sell out fast. While subscription spots are offered first to the previous year’s subscribers, the next best way to secure a spot is to sign up for newsletter updates (the sign-up sheet is available in the footer menu).

Subscriptions aren’t the only way to enjoy our locally-grown blooms. Custom orders are accepted each week throughout the growing season, with delivery available across the Island and to Sault Ste. Marie. Flowers are also available at the Jardin Farm booth (spring flowers) at Soo Market (73 Brock St.), at pop-up events via Bread Hag (124 Bruce St.) and throughout the growing season at Island Market (Richard’s Landing).

  • Unfortunately, no. The bouquet subscription is best for those who love colour and those who love being surprised at what arrives next!
If you have colour preferences we recommend placing a custom order on the website requesting a certain colour palette.

  • As stated on the subscription shop page, flowers will not be left when there is no vase left out (unless the subscriber has provided instructions to leave without water). Bouquets will be available at a designated pick-up location in Sault Ste. Marie. After two days bouquets are donated to local nursing homes. Please note that missed bouquets are not replaceable.

  • Allergies to certain flowers are common (and unfortunate). If you have an allergy to a particular plant please send us an email to inquire about its use in our subscription arrangements.

Event flowers

  • Flowers are available in bulk quantities throughout the growing season. Please contact us to discuss quantities and the details of your event.

  • With enough advance planning we can grow a colour palette of your choosing (within reason). Please keep in mind, however, that local flowers are best for those who are flexible about the types of flowers they receive for their wedding. While we can estimate when a certain variety will bloom we can’t guarantee its timing will coincide with your chosen date. If you are someone who has their heart set on a particular flower in a particular hue, we highly recommend getting in touch with a local florist who can help bring your floral vision to life.
That being said, if you love all the flowers and local is important to you, please send us an email to get the conversation started.

  • We do not currently provide design services for weddings, though we can recommend designers in the Sault area who are accustomed to working with our local blooms.
If you’re looking to incorporate dried florals into your wedding design, we may be able to help. Boutonnieres, flower crowns and dried flower bouquets are just some of the options for everlastings.

  • A deposit is not required at this time.
